@steng2495 true, I did not come to a complete stop as the law states, although I did look left and made sure there was no traffic... there was none as the roads were very empty due to conditions. That's also why I didn't come to a complete stop so as to not lose traction.

I have a Cobalt SS Turbocharged and I absolutely need new tires. I read reviews on this tire and the price is great, but I hear the snow performance sucks. So is it bad or decent enough. I live in Colorado and our snow looks like yours, except we have more hills on a drive that long.

@vahdyx I would go with a dedicated set of winter tires. These Kumho ASX's are all season. They do well in packed snow / tire tracks. But I have some issue getting up some steeper hills. Also they wore out after about 30k miles. They are also noisy on the road. I will try a different brand next time, however that said I think they are still a decent tire for the price.

@skillz139 It's pretty much like any other FWD, I think it's fine for the occasional snow each winter we get here. For a lot of snow I'd want a jeep or another 4x4.
