Just got the LCDVF viewfinder and it makes all the difference! Had lots of trouble on really bright days viewing the lcd screen. I found a UK supplier who was very fast at despatching this....12 hours from paying to recieving. 50mm 1.8 lense used.
Do you think I could attach the self adhesive frame onto the plastic protection that shipped with my D7000? I recently bought it and I don't like the idea of "glueing" stuff to my cam just yet....
@Farout5150 Hi Scott, to be totally honest...it was done in post lol. If you look carefully it is just the same 1st clip of this video with an adjustment. Think i was messing with Magic Bullet looks at the time and optical flares. The same look could easily be achieved with an adjustment layer, the saturation and exposure brought down and a simple mask to create the hotspot.

@NBGZerO I would not worry! The self adhesive frame that ships with the Loupe is very easy to get off and remove any trace of.

I really dig that lighting @ 00:22
Was that a natural occurrence - or was it done in post?
Whatever it is - it looks cool.
Thanks for sharing with us!
Take care
