Wow...this was really beautiful and deliciously creepy at the same time. Unlike most people commenting here, I never saw this movie until now--unfortunate, but I at least got to experience at some point! (19 at the moment)
Ray Bradbury is such an amazing writer; I remember first reading Fahrenheit 451 in high school and being totally overcome by it--its plotline and style.
Seeing this reminds me of what an amazing author he is--I should read this book...

Thanks for posting. I love this movie. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that the kids don't seem to "get" that when Moundshroud is saying to fetch/get/seek Pip that it's for him, not them until the end. He's pretty blunt about his intentions. However, I love how the four friends willing to do anything to save Pip. That's true love. I always tear up a bit at the end.

So close to that wonderfull time of the year, this movie is a MUST... It was something special back then, showing us that even cartoons back in those days, could be more meaningfull then movies of today...This was a Hanna-Barbera Gem.
