hmm...idk, i found that screaming FALCON PUNCH underwater and punching square in the nose is the most efficient way...though it often causes the shark to explode instantaneously upon contact.

It's what you get when you get in their way. Sharks don't eat people, in fact most predators don't, because we are the worst tasting creatures on the planet. Predators DO attack if you violate their territory though. Plus sharks will become agressive when they smell blood, or you're making too much noise, not to mention their teeth are designed to bite off anything that gets in their mouth, but they will never intentionally aim to kill and eat a human.
