Classic Game Room reviews VENTURE for ColecoVision from 1982. Based on the 1981 arcade machine from Exidy, this Coleco version of Venture is solid, outstanding arcade style dungeon adventure meets Berzerk-style gaming.

  • 5:31 that thing use to scare the shit out of me, when i was a kid. Would be scared to go into dark rooms 'cause i thought he'd emerge. lol

  • The 'evil otto' you speak of is called a Hall Monster

  • I have a Colecovision and Venture too :D

  • @Riverdancedeath You're welcome! Glad I could be of help. ;)

  • @dsbiehl awesomeness! thanks!!!

  • @Riverdancedeath The name of the song at the beginning is called "Flock of Cowboys". Google is your friend if you want to search for it.

  • One question...what is that sweet 80's tune you use in the introduction? and I remember Venture, Jungle Hunt, and Gladiator in the arcade, they use to be like discos.lol

  • @WebVManReturns True that!!!

  • Whoa! What a voice! I know I've heard that voice before. Did you ever do voice acting before, Mark? Oh, yeah! Mr. Bill and Pizza Head. Did you narrate the Pizzahead commercials before you started CGR?
