What the hell is with people who try to insult somebody by calling them "faggot" or "gay lord" and then immediately say shit like "suck my dick" and "I raped you"
I'm ashamed that some people are really that stupid...
-
while i hate all those bloody emos theres too many wannabe fucking 'heros' with their 28-member groups.

Okay I made it through 5 minutes but it's as simple as this: don't feed trolls/fake flaggers/other dickholes on youtube or any part of the internet. It's not worth it. They're generally such unintelligent attention whores that even if you are winning the argument they will just continue with unoriginal insults such as "fag". If no one gives them any kind of reaction (which is what they want) they'll just kill themselves eventually.

haha the guy writing is probably like 12 years old! its fucking rediculous

Trolls Fail

I suppose if one refuses to change it despite large similarities, then theres a problem, yes. Random chats I've been into though might have users like Kat193 and Kat196 and Kat-023, and generally there doesnt seem to be much problem, thats just how I see it.
I know other people are welcome to their opinions, but I like putting more faith in people that they can tell one username from another, despite differences, thats all. Imitation however, is another thing entirely, and I dont like that.

Meh. As long as the flagging system is there, and moderators are ineffective, thats the reality of it. There'll always be abuse and tampering with the system, groups or sock accounts or otherwise.I dont like hanging TJ out to dry by bringing his name up, but he's my general experience when I think of the whole kicking thing gone a bit awry. I agree with you, disobeying rules is one thing, but what Im saying is I'm not sure if its even a rule to begin with, thats all. Again, I suppose it depends.
-
Regarding wilfully chosen or not: If your nick is similar to an already logged in user and you refuse to change it despite being instructed to do so by moderators, you're wilfully disrupting the chat and deserve being kicked, IMO.
-
In a moderated forum or chat, rules are what the moderators decide. Don't like it, don't join that particular forum or chat. Getting kicked for disobeying moderators' instructions is not an infringement on someone's freedom of speech. Freedom of speech does not equate to a license to be an ass.
I can't comment regarding TJ going on random kicking sprees, but if that's true it sounds like a dick move deserving of ridicule, but certainly not something as moronic as an organized flagging campaign.

Anyone who incites attempts to silence another individuals opinions, be it themselves, or as a group, and have the means to do so successfully, instantly become a free speech issue for me at least.
That goes for kicking people for no reason, and it goes for people depicted in these videos.
This is NOT a free speech issue.
These people have way too much time on their hands and are taking the internet WAY too seriously.

I agree with the latter, but question the former...
How was one person inciting a group to effectively silence someone else's opinion not a free speech issue, please?

I am neither Atheist nor Religious.
Although I hate flaggers, being banned from TJ's room is no big thing in itself. I've witnessed TJ banning random people off his page simply for their usernames being similar to someone elses. Solid fact.
Free speech is a baseless arguement in itself when I've witnessed free speech being quashed on rooms from atheist and religious sites on both sides.
The flagging system is inept. Thats all I'm going to say in that respect.

I agree, any system put into place by humans is going to be partial, or only as good as its implementers.
Also, your first statement is very intriguing, but I shan't pry further ;)

did you not notice that you where talking to a kid all this time? he is probably 13 or something.
he is just creating numerous accounts and flagging. Don't worry YOUTUBE won't let him tagg the same video from the same IP address so chill out

I agree; if the flagger isn't physically 13 years old, their mental age is in that region.
Fingers crossed dprjones has it sorted by now, though Coughlan666 was taken down very recently by just this kind of behaviour.
