  • I have a new model red M-100fm with a Floyd Rose Special (I think the earlier models had ESP's own licensed Floyd), and the special stays in tune fine, and can be drop tuned in about 20 minutes if you know what you're doing. If you have an older Ltd, it's probably got a shitty Floyd.

  • Great! I have the same guitar simply, but mine is a red MH-50 with a floyd.

  • You have to adjust the springs, that's why it goes out of tune when you change tunings. Floyds are good for divebombs, that's it. They are garbage if you drop tune at all. I had one, hated them,

  • :/

  • @aj2361 zzounds.com has it in red. if not online then probably you could order it from esp :P

  • where did u find that guitar in red i can only find black

  • I wonder if you can give me the tabs or chords that you use to play ... You caught the "Where to? if you can give the page .. and you are very good! (i dont speak english..this is the google translator jaja)

  • @vOuijaa Thanks mate, that's great to hear. Why do you think the floyd goes out of tune though? That's pretty odd for a FR.

  • @skingaz this guitar is great, perfect for soloing due to its extremely fast neck. Very reliable, and cheap. LTD always puts out quality guitars. The stock pickups are great too, I'm about to change them out for some 81/60's. Its definitely comparable to Ibanez and Jackson, even its more expensive ESP models. The ONLY downside to the guitar is that when you change tunings, it takes awhile for the guitar to be in-tunated and the floyd goes out of tune fairly often. Still a great buy, get it.

  • Quick question but, how good would you say this guitar is? What other makes and models do you think it's comparable with? (thinking Ibanez, Jackson etc)
