Actually in japanese budo, anything can be revoked . It is not the same as a university, in that a martial arts ryu is not accountable to anyone other than the lineal head of the style. That a person may have earned a rank at one time, no one can dispute, but as far as a rank being currently valid if the head of a style says it's not, is a different matter altogether. If a headmaster says you're out, then you're out. Simple as that. These are Japanese ways and our Western ways don't apply.

Not from this. Maybe this is derived from aikido. Daito ryu (true aikijujutsu) is nothing like this.

No way maybe Aikijutsu can give you a chance to be cut but be alive.Aikijutsu or Aikido hard Styles like Yoshinkan were tested againts Boxers,wrestler ,Judokas as well Karatekas.Read about Yoshinkan Aikido and you will learn the real AIKI.
