1/100 Akatsuki Gundam

The fully gold gundam from the Gundam Seed Destiny Series.
Overall comment about the model:
On the overall, this is one of the best NG models that I've ever build in terms of quality. Almost all the parts are gold plated. Bandai has put a lot of effort in hiding the cut marks and seam lines. The model comes with 2 backpacks: Oowashi and Shiranui. Oowashi is for atmospheric flight and Shiranui is for space flight. With the backpacks, this model is more suited for aerial poses than ground poses. Posability is fairly decent for a NG model. My only complaint is that the Shiranui pack does not come with the effects parts like the 1/144 model where the "dragoon" can shoot out.

@gfwong - You know, getting a Silver Akatsuki and put it beside the golden one, man, they would be good side-to-side :) I did that once with my RG Aile Strike and Freedom, they made a great team, if not better, the best! Nice vid, music and of course the model itself.

@gfwong79 Where do you get the silver version? I had to ask even if I have to find the golden version because I live in the Philippines. I wanted to find a Silver version so it can go along with the golden version, which I would try to look for. Thanks for the details by the way. :)

I just like it cause of who its piloted by.Kinda gives that hope/royalty feeling that the pilot does.That and she doesn't need heightened senses to pilot it and its still good.
