So not piston slap, sound like its got no oil in it. I had one years ago and if the oil got low or thin, the top end would tap like crazy.

@Darkherooftheday Just a bit of piston slap. Give your head a shake before hating on a good quality car. GM was brutal for piston slap. Much better than an intrepid for their notoreous transmissions.

without the bad tick in the grand prix, id take it def, i just got a lumina 93 z34 with the same engine , hard car to work on and yeah space is limited, but my 81 280zx would smoke all easily

my pontiac gave out on me a month ago. repair shop thinks it needs to be reprogrammed with an ignition module. not worth keeping. im going to miss it a lot...

since this video I've done some work..in this video i noticed a vacuum leak. got a new starter, oil pressure sending unit, battery, front brake pads. i'd very much like to expand my intake but space is cramped...want to get decent sounding mufflers next (GP of course)

i like 96 grand prixs. I like the frame of the older looking grand prixs, i havent seen a 98 though.
