SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WROOOOOOOONG....the enterprise has an engine that 'cheats'...the warp field conceils their mass in subspace so that in regular space they 'have no mass' and thAt way they can move faster than light...their engines have NOTHING to do with negative or positive mass, or bending space....HE'S AN IDIOT...probably never even saw a single episode to the end....dumbass

So you're discrediting the whole idea just because it isn't like it is in Star Trek?

no im not...im just saying he's not fuly aware how the star trek engines work...i didn't say his 'version' wasn't possible...but hes confusing two different things...

No that's exactly what you're saying. You called the man an idiot because his idea was not like it is in Star Trek.

The right response is "Very good concept, but the Enterprise uses this kind of warp drive." Instead you came back with "LOL MORON."

no im not...but he is dicrediting the star trek idea just because he thinks its not a viable option (just because physics today has not enough to understand any kind of warp travel fully...there are always gaps...even in star trek)

He's a scientist, he's proposing a possible mechanism for the technology. Perhaps the method you describe is impractical and what he describes fits better with currently known science.

Oh wow, I have to make a dumbed-down speech, and I got most of my information from Professor Krauss, right here!

Amazingly, I came up with an idea to use the same visual aid as he's using: a balloon with a stripe on it. O_O

COOL!
