  • it's less money to keep the bars open all night. there's more business all around too. the way it is now, you get people to just the point of drunkenness and they want more,but! nobody is serving. THAT makes people grouchy. then fights. then more police. then more money from the taxpayers. Yet, more money; less police.

  • The best solution would be to elminate closing times. That way, there isn't an explosion of drunks all out on the streets at once. Plus, why shouldn't businesses should be able to open and close whenever they want and can?

  • Nice recap! How current is this information may I ask? Are city council currently meeting to discuss hiring more than the 17 new Constables the Council granted the Department after the feasibility study by the VPD showed the need for 65 new Constables? Thank you for putting this up!
