what if the person who's under the suggestion has an extreme phobia of snakes and actually had a panic attack or even worse a heart attack

@NESSABOOOO I have never had any issues performing this thousands of times. There are many direct and indirect suggestions weaved through the show to add levels of protection and options out for volunteers on any of the routines. For example, about 4 days ago, I was going into a different routine than this particular snake one, and the volunteer did not respond to the suggestions, came out of hypnosis, and then once the routine was continued, he went right back into hypnosis.

@HypnotistMarcSavard I have also been a huge proponent of every stage hypnotist being a hypnotherapist as well. If ever a situation did arise, those skills would not only come in helpful, but be necessary. I believe it is a professional and ethical courtesy to your participants on stage.
