  • I believe the gentleman who steps out to take a picture might be Tommy's late father, Bubba White.... Tommy is incredible :)

  • The only three people that have ever walked this ball of carbon and have any right to give this a 'thumbs-down" would be Big E, Charleton and Huey - and since all three are/were to nice to do such, I'll suppose it was three jealous fools with a Carter Starter under their bed gathering dust... Tommy is not only a Bad Man, he's a Nice Guy... don't hate... appreciate!!

  • @steinsteel LOL... I'd hate to hear what you think of Robert Randolph then... Tommy is OUTSTANDING - there are few that are worthy of polishing his bar... let alone criticize him.

This is obviously a jazzy ad-lib piece... give it a rest.

  • Tommy is outstanding, but like many of his generation,he went too fast from non pedal to pedal steel. Thats what make Buddy Emmons and Cury Chalker singers of theyr instruments. They never play the Steel they sing it.Theyr left hand never forget the years with non pedal.

  • excelent speed pickin and triplets

  • Such a fun track!

Nice sound, sound board trackin is great, thumpin rythm

  • Start with lap steel. My 8 year old nephew can play along with the radio, and he's only been at it for 9 months.

  • Incredible Tone! That Webb Amp sounds awesome. I want one . . . or two.

  • I've been to Scotty's convention and it's the most fun you can have......with your clothes on!

  • Steelpicker is right! I had a rare chance to meet Tommy at George L"s steel shop in Nashville. He IS quite a gentleman and took plenty of time to just hang around and talk. He is at the TOP!
