This number is originally written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David as "They long to be close to you"
Carpenters rendition is the most famous in Japan.
I also really love Carpenters version.
So, I tried to sing this song with acoustic guitar & loopin' percussion.
Please, no flames about my bad English.

カーペンターズの名曲「(They long to be) Close to you」を弾き語ってみました。
元々は、バート・バカラックの楽曲だそうです。
色々なミュージシャンがカバーしてますが、やはりカーペンターズverが秀逸ですね。
パンデイロ、シェイカー、トライアングルの音はループペダルで重ねました。

by the way... the recording of the vocals is a little bit different than the last time? i'm not sure, but it sometimes sounds like some clipping to me...

Actually, I used an echo-effector for vocal mic.

But, It is not new equipment.

I always used it when I recorded some movies

because I have no confidence in my voice.
