I am an ex college athlete and have recently been thinking about letting myself go. I can't seem to motivate myself to work out these days, and eating food is much easier. Just wondering what anyone thinks I should do. Would you consider me fat yet? Am I on my way? Or am I still considered skinny? Do you think I should go for it and if so, how do I do it?? Any tips or suggestions would be great!

  • Thanks for all the comments, I'm definitely gonna need them if I'm going to continue! What should be my total caloric goal for a given day? And at what point will I no longer be able to hide my fatness by sucking in? I'm 5'9" and 160-5ish right now

    If you continue on your current path you maybe susceptible diabetes and heart conditions. The skinny fat body shape that you are exhibiting are due to metabolic changes in your body.

    I am not trying to scare you just to make you aware.

    You do not need to be an athlete to combat this. Do so some research in interval training for short training periods to increase your metabolism.

    Calories of about 2500 per day at average lifestyle.

  • Well it's your decision if you want to get fat or not but your kinda on the way and a good way to keep going is to EAT EAT EAT

  • lol wtf is up with the manboob juggling. but seriously nah, you're not fat. you got a long way to go before that too. It took me 3 years to get fat. and I'm still not really that big. I don't even have side rolls yet. I used to be 178 lbs, 3 years ago. now im 211 lbs. I do got manboobz though lol.

  • @skinny2fat88 honestly, i found that exersize is the key, if you dont move, you dont lose... i rode a bike everywhere i went for 8 months and lost 60 pounds with no other exersizing/ any diet..( i weighed 220, now im 160 and im 6 foot 1) i like food, and i cant stop myself from eating it, but i can stop my body from keeping it. im not saying eat ice-cream all day, but balenced meals and a couple snacks a day is fine( or was for me ) idk maybe its just me im just trying to help. GL!
