How much do you think you can know about a person you just met? I decided to go to Manhattan and ask people whom I didn't know if they'd be willing to allow me to describe their personalities to them and to record this so that you could watch.
I discovered some friendly and interesting people at a Farmer's Market in the East Village and ended up spending the day there. I had good conversations, and the atmosphere of the market was quite welcoming; I really felt like I was part of the community.

I think I am 4 with a 5 wing, but I'm not very social. I don't have social difficulties or anything, but I often chose to and prefer be alone. I feel drained after spending too much time among people. Would you be able to explain that..?

@eaglelockertsen Even if you are a 4 with a 5 as this girl is, your instinctual variants and your Myers-Briggs type are different from hers. You are least social, and probably dominant self-preservation (there's more about this on my website). And you are introverted, while she is extroverted (you plug into yourself for energy and so need time to recharge, while she plugs into the outside world for energy).

I am 4 wing 5, everything you said here is like about me. Funny thing is that I thought I am so unique in this, and I am just this type :) . Can a 4 have a good relationship with another 4 ? I think this girl could understand me, but most of my girlfriend were probably 8s, they were very bossy :)

@pkolodz Thanks for this comment! I am familiar with this feeling--that I am unique in certain ways which I discover are not where my true uniqueness exists. Ultimately, we are all truly unique--just not in the ways we often think we are. Our experience of the world overlaps others' experiences, so there can be understanding there; we just have to know where to look for it. A 4 can have a good relationship with another 4, yes. But it is possible to find understanding of you in other types also.

Hey, I'm still confuse whether I'm a 4 wing 5 or a 5 wing 4. Your video gave me the general idea but I want to be certain. Can you give me key points, the difference between the two?

I've tested and have sexual/self-pres instinctual variant. So its sort of confusing :/

@pkolodz i am a 4w5 as well:), and my friends say i look cool and distant on the exterior, but once they get to know me they think im nice. my hypothesis to your observation is maybe, when we see other people who look cool and distant (perhaps type 4) at first, we think they are out of reach? and have less confidence to approach them? so we approach people who look friendlier and more sociable on the exterior instead (type 8) im not sure:P

She doesn't seem like a 4w5 at all. They're supposed to be one of the most withdrawn of the subtypes. Also, I thought 4s were supposed to be more intuitive and reflective. She definitely seemed like more of a sensor. She seems like a 6w7 to me.
