I was at McNair from Jan 1974 till Nov 1977. Unit CSC 4/6
I remember Colonel Katter (as I'm sure everyone else from that period did). That son of a gun could run! And run...and run...Etc. anyone in my unit at that time may also remember duty at Spandau Prison guarding Rudolph Hess. (my first major duty with my new unit). Perhaps you remember that little theater next to the PX, or the tailor shop around back.

Wow. I had a great time in Scout plt. CSC 3/6 inf. 83 - 84. Start of video made me think of Top Johnson's Curry Stand out the back gate. It's sad to see the decline of the barracks. Hopefully they can restore it into a Monument for all the Soldiers who served there.

Great memories. I was there in 1982-83. Will you have anymore get togethers there? Are the buildings still standing? I would love to see the old buildings and meet old buddies again. Berlin will never be the same. Thanks for the video.

I was in 2/5 HHC McNair 82-83. Life changed forever for the good. German people are wonderful. I miss it.

you must have been with the scouts out patroling the wall.i was with the csc 4 502 83 84 then Bco 4th 502 untill 87.Mcnair has been sold and is under heavy reconstruction.

How weird to see this place so run down. I was here with C-94th FA from 77 to 82. Nostalgic, but sad.
