  • @juanunderground Millions of people are from Poland...hundreds of millions are "not from the USA". There's absolutely no logic in your remark. "Greatness" comes from an individual, not whatever country where they happen to have been born.

    Basia IS great....because of Basia.

Poland is a wonderful country and her citizens have many reasons to be proud, in my opinion, but to say that she has "greatness" simply by virtue of her birth in a certain geographic location is nonsense.

  • Kate Perry and Taylor Swift cannot reach her nothing, absolutely nothing!!. The greatness of Basia is that she is not from USA, She's from Poland. She's still has talent to show the new ones how their brains are empty in music!!

  • Nice to see again, thank you.

  • This song helps me! Life is not a rush - enjoy it - have hope and faith... Thanks for the tears of refreshment!

  • @JimmBailey I have to disagree with ya on this one..yes, timeless music, awesome voice, but the video is definitely late 80's early 90's..check out the man dancing w/ the broom!

  • @seriouslyinsanediva I hope she's still playing with Danny and Peter White. I always wondered why she faded away. I hope to hear more from her also.

  • @gtrwarriordon London Warsaw and New York also included Stevie Wonder's "Until You Come Back to Me" and "Baby You're Mine", and became top Contemporary Jazz Album of the year beating grammy award winner Quincy Jones. She withdrew from the recording industry in 1998 citing the death of her mother. She retook her career only in the past couple of years. She's still amazing, I look forward to hearing more from her.

  • @gtrwarriordon She is noted for possessing a wide vocal range, approximately three octaves that span from contralto to soprano tessituras, as well as her singular jazz-influenced stylings and multi-layered harmonies. In 1989 her second album, London Warsaw New York, sold almost two million units including more than one million in the U.S. and featured another Top 30 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, "Cruising for Bruising".
