Antron Brown NHRA Top Fuel crash at Pomona Winter Nationals

In the second round of eliminations, 2012 world champion Antron Brown's Matco Tools dragster went out of control and crashed near the finish line. Brown emerged from the crashed car under his own power and was checked and released by NHRA emergency services officials. He received only very minor injuries in the incident.
"I am feeling good," Brown said. "I've got some scrapes on my legs, and my back is a little sore, but overall, I feel good.

It's pretty sad how this got no airtime on SportsCenter, yet there were like 4 segments about Danica getting the pole at Daytona. Let's face it, if Antron would have died, there would have been a 1-2 minute segment. The only time the NHRA gets any attention is when someone dies or when something historical happens with the Forces, yet they'll make a 20-car NASCAR fender bender out to be the most amazing thing ever. NASCAR is so overrated and it's amazing Antron walked away from this.

NHRA drivers are not that stupid enough to consumed alchocol before they race. Accident happens, look it up "Scott Kalitta fatal crash" and he died on that horrific crash & that shit is real my friend.

then tell me if the roundy round fans don't like to see wrecks, why did mr. boogity boogity say a few years ago regarding an event at bristol that had the fewest cautions was called boring? i will say that there are fans of racing like you who want a clean race but from my experiences most nascar fans(again the ones i have to deal with) they want carnage. kind of like someone who is a hockey fan but only watches to see the players fight, both give the fans of that sport a bad name.
