Hawk catching a lucky pigeon

I heard a terrific bang on the upstairs window suspecting a bird had crashed into it I looked out and this was the scene I encountered I tried making a noise to frighten the hawk away but it stayed put so I went downstairs and shooed the hawk away, the pigeon was alive but unable to fly so we sheltered it in the downstairs toilet for a couple of days providing seed and water not knowing if there were any bones broken on the third day we took it outside and it flew off none to worse for wear.

its not a goshawk, its a sparrow hawk, and the "pigeon" is a collared dove. excellent vid.
