3 things!
1- Evo has the biggest brakes in the Class ^_^
2- The power of the Evo is best in class (ive looked at dyno sheets from all the cars)
3- AWD handles very poorly on dry compared to M3/GXP/Fbody
To sum it up the only reason the evos are even doing well are because of amazing drivers in the car Marty and Bill peters make these cars go fast because they are fast not because the car is! MARTY! Come to the darkside! buy a GXP! haha

Ill add in 1 more thins after completing the video.
I believe that was Baten in the chevy at the end (8:50) i heard him miss a shift coming onto the long straight away and marty had to check up obviously not expecting it. contact was a accident. same thing happened to me at CAT nationals with bill peters he missed his 3rd to 4th shift and i had to dive over to the right to avoid contact at the drop of the green.

i very much appreciate the comments!. That was Baten, I had a good run on him at the same time he missed the shift, at the last second I tried to square up on him so I didnt spin him on contact. To clarify-the Evo has very good brakes but not on par with the M3, GXP (because weight), 350z and especially the Lotus. As for power, we did have really good power pre restrictors but are now limited to 370 crank hp (around 300 whp) @3480 pounds. You can see the M3 is very close in speed up top. .

Ahh thats true! I cant wait to see ya at the runoffs! should be one of the best races for this class in the past few years. all the cars seem to make the same lap time in different parts of the track. i cant say any One car really has it in the bag.... unless it rains ^_^

To tell you the truth, I hope its a nice cool dry day. With so many cars/drivers in the running for the podium, I'm looking for a great race. Good luck Andy, but not too much ;)
