Caitlin Cary and Thad Cockrell sing their song "Please Break My Heart" on Chicago TV show "Corporate Country Sucks" See more at www.corporatecountrysucks.com
After 25 years of listening to and selling music, ten hours a day, every day in my record store, this is it. My number one CD, my desert island pick and I got to choose from 100,000 CD's at any given time across all genres, although I can't say this bootleg recording does Begonias justice. Jennifer Warnes Famous Blue Raincoat comes in at No 2.
Man, I don't like to take risks when it's time to buy music. However, knowing where Caitlin comes from (Whiskeytown), I decided to buy Begonias, and the song you mentioned, it was so mesmerizing that it's hard to describe
That's a tall statement, but I agree. Everything about it is quality. And, in a way, its semi-obscurity adds to its value ... but another duet effort would still be welcome!
@1972diz Yeah, low quality aside, really miss the steel guitar.

Begonias is an amazing album, just listened to it again today. There's a song starting "Katie's gone to California," just magic.
