Drama Workshops by CFPA

This gives an idea of what takes place during a Caribbean Family Planning Affiliation (CFPA) Drama Workshop.

It's a surprisingly effective way to gauge youths thinking on particular issues. This video clip is/wasa 'No Budget' exercise done using consumer vid-cam, on-cam mic,, then editing using free software that came with my computer's video card. The Drama Workshops themselves
were funded by the Canadian International Development Agency as part of the FATE project. FATE is an acronym for Fighting AIDS through Training and Education. The concept was developed by CFPA as a means of educating youth in the Caribbean about protecting themselves from HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Infectioins

It was part of the Fighting AIDS through Education project which was then sponsored by CIDA. It operated in over 24 Caribbean islands.
