Behzod Abduraimov is a world class pianist. A remarkable winner indeed , but in the present musical scene the young classical composer and pianist Yan Ayrton and Valentina Lisitsa are in a still more stunning, awesome and incomparable level.

Absolutely brilliant! He stepped in for an indisposed Jean-Philippe Collard (who had previously replaced Martha Argerich) in the Prokofiev at the Hexagon, Reading on 2nd May. He got a huge ovation though few people probably knew then that he was the winner of the London International Piano Competition. What a treat!
