That farm hearkens back to an era where small towns were self sufficient in a way. Goods from other nations were a luxury and most things you owned were manufactured and sold within a small radius of you home relatively speaking. Every store was a mom and pop and the bank owner was also a neighbor. The answers to this nations problems probably lie somewhere in the past.

@NWOIS666 Right next door there is a 50 acre farm for sale but Im afraid the reason why is it may have been shut down by government environmental regulations due to wet lands.

America doesn't care about its' past. Buildings or history. If it's not the latest or hottest thing, you are the one that is left behind. The American dream is 30+ years gone. You can't work hard enough in America and make it anymore. Our kids are screwed.

I've been living in Australia, over here a 2 bed dogbox unit costs over 300,000 dollars (u.s) and a loaf of bread is 4.30 (u.s). I am seriously considering taking all my money and going to buy a place like this in America and starting again.
