Mickey Gilley's "True Love Ways" was a #1 Country Music Hit on 7/19/1980. It was released on the Epic LP "That's All That Matters to Me" on 7/19/1980 and the LP was #8 Country Music Album. Mickey Gilley was a huge name in Country Music from 1974 to 1988. He was the owner of the world famous "Gilley's" Nightclub in Houston. The nightclub burned down about the same time Mickey and the "Urban Cowboy" country sound had stopped being the in thing in Nashville. Mickey Gilley did build another "Gilley's" in the Dallas / Forth Worth area and a new one in Las Vegas. Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee both play the new club as of 2011.
