This is the Boston band The Moves playing on 8/15/2000 at the Atomic Cafe in Houston. The first song on this clip is "Heavenly Creatures" based on on the movie and was featured on a Mr. Lady compilation CD called "New Women's Music Sampler". The other songs are from the bands self titled debut CD also released on Mr. Lady Records. The Moves were Rachel Cohen, Sara Cooper and Sara Shaw.

Oh man, almost every video you have is a band i know. I've been able to see this band live (too young and had no idea about them at the time), and thank you so so so SO much for this. Do you remember why the lead singer has a mustache on..?

Well, it was a lesbian band, but I don't know why she was wearing a mustache. I still thought she looked cute though (somehow). I always wondered if the band members are still playing music in other groups after they broke up. They were all very talented.
