motorguru's Justin Bell has a long history with Viper including being part of the factory Oreca Viper Team, winning the 1997 GT2 World Drivers Championship and the 1998 Le Mans 24 Hour race in the same category. Visiting the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant was somewhat of a homecoming for Justin and the team at motorguru. This motorFEATURE video is a story that motorguru.com has wanted to tell for some time. Conner Ave. is not at all a typical automated factory. Each Viper is hand assembled with unbelievable dedication from long-time craftsmen and craftswomen who take great pride in their work. Only seven to eight Vipers are produced each day in a straight line assembly line totally just over 700 feet long. Awesome to see an American car being Hand Built, Compared to some 100% Hand built Super Cars that take in some cares a few weeks to build it's production is still somewhat primitive but as a mass produced vehicle I'm still very impressed! Beautiful car, Too bad they're discontinuing it:(
