Route 15 is a heritage streetcar line, operated by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), along Girard Avenue through North and West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.
-
Tram service was suspended (replaced with buses) in 1992, along with Route 23 and Route 56. On September 4, 2005, trolley service (only route 15) was restored. The SEPTA Route 23 bus line which was originally a trolley line that may be restored between 2014 and 2021. These models are from 1947 (although they have been modernized)

PS: I apologize for the shaky of the camera but if you have noticed it is raining and it was a little chilly so naturally the body shakes.

  • i go to temple and the 23 line runs by there

i really want to see those trolleys on the 23

  • Excellent tram. It is the ancestor of tram Tatra T1, produced in 1952 - 1958 enterprises ČKD Tatra in Prague in Czechoslovakia. (The concept of building like a US-spec PCC).

  • @gaycowboy31 They are AC, Septa also added wheelchair ramps to them.

  • Those PCC's really accelerate.....

  • Nice to see these old ones running again!
