  • Baldwin produced 0-4-2st locomotives for narrow-gauge railroads involved in mining and logging, and Roaring Camp & Big Trees #3 is a showcase of the type.

  • Yep it is a 3 chime buck eye similar to the ones at Walt Disney World. Wow the 3 and old Heisler 2 on the same day. Ive only been to Roaing Camp twice and both times they had Dixiana 1(2t shay) and the one I rode on Sonora 7(ex Westside 3t shay).

  • For those who don't know this engine sat in a display window at Sutro baths in

San Francsico before coming to Roaring camp & restored to service!

Saw it in S.F. when I was a child.

  • i lived right down the road from there!

  • itis so cute!!!!!!!!!

  • Well in the end of this video it's pulling a train, I haven't been to roaring camp so I can't tell you if they do that all the time, but I would think it is used for shunting.

  • Do they use her to pull trains?

  • i asked them that there, and they said she dosen't like grades. as soon as she gets her nose in the air, she's very uncooperative

  • What do they use it for if not to pull up the hill? They have the diesel for yard work
