Formed in 2007 at the Colburn Conservatory of Music, the Saguaro Piano Trio has already burst onto the scene with stunning successes in the worlds most exclusive chamber music competitions. In September 2009 they solidified their reputation as one of the most thoughtful and engaging young ensembles in the classical music world today by taking first place at the International Chamber Music Competition Hamburg, whose jury was led by renowned chamber musician Menahem Pressler. At this competition, they also won the special prize for the best performance of a work by Brahms.

Other competition successes include third prize at the 2008 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, and second prize at the 2008 Osaka International Chamber Music Competition.

The Saguaro Piano Trio has performed in the USA, Canada, Germany and Japan, including prestigious venues such as Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall. They have been broadcast on national radio in Germany, and their forthcoming CD will contain works by Haydn, Babadjanian and Ravel.
