FUCK THATS FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could enjoy one of these in the cowes races,no friend,s but hey.

Just to clarify with some of the comments left, these boats are not supercharged or have turbos, as they only rev from 6 - 8000 rpm and have only one gearing. Superchargers & turbos would only just be cutting in at those revs but the jet units are limited to the revolutions of around 6 - 8000 rpm max with work done to the jet to achieve these revs.
-
These boats are only about 13 ft. long
-
No, it's not supercharged. He's got a Kendrick all aluminum 500 cubic inch small block chevrolet, mechanical fuel injection, running on methonol fuel making around 950-1000 horsepower.
-
supercharged.
-
Jet units pump 20,000 l per min - thats a swimming pool full in about the time of the run!! Listen to the exaust note, hardly changes - always a sign of a good run

Arithmetic. g = V**2/R. Measure the speed. Measure the radius of turn and you have it.
The side forces are enormous. Tons of water per second being thrown out sideways.

8g? where from do you get that info?
That is the most awesome thing I have seen in a long time.

I support that: it is that fast. 0-120km/hr in 2.5 seconds. I have seen one of those boats roll out of the water and end 20 metres up the hill. It's awsome stuff. We are talking up to 1000 HP, twin turbo V8's here jammed into a 16 foot boat.
