I like Sea turtles i'm only 14 so my dream is to rescue these animals and help them :-) but there will be alot of years learing before i can get to my dream Nice Video 5/5 Amazing!

Mama Pritchard, the 368-pound, mature female loggerhead sea turtle, is the first turtle released this season on Saturday, April 17 at the Isle of Palms County Park. Mama Pritchard was brought into the Sea Turtle Hospital by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) on July 7, 2008 weighing 330 pounds.

i'm in love with sea turtles. gonna major in biology so i can become a marine biologist in later years.

When they found her she was stuck in what they call a tidel pool. Here in South Carolina in turtle season we get these weird things during full moons called spring tides which very from 7 feet to 10 feet. So she got stuck in a deep "puddle" and tide had already made it's way out to sea. She would have been stuck in that puddle for 6 hours had they not released her. Wow. sorry that comment was so long. And a female that age weighs about 300 to 400 pounds.
