A short documentary about the Sustainable Futures Eco-Human Rights Event held at the Elora Centre for the Arts in Elora, Ontario, Canada on May 30, 2009.

The event was a coalition between three social action groups - the CWDHS (Centre Wellington District High School) Amnesty International Group, the CWDHS Environmental Group, and the Elora Public School Amnesty International Group.

The day long event consisted of the following:

FREE AWARE FAIR (1:00 pm to 4:00 pm) - Booths of the many eco-stores and human rights organizations from around the Centre Wellington and Guelph communities were showcased.

Join in the drum circle for all ages, watch the bellydancing troup, indulge in some aromatherapy, and have a taste of Mapleton's organic ice cream -- just to name a few of the activities! Bring your families; there will be plenty of children's activities!

HUNGER BANQUET (4:00 pm to 6:30 pm) - A hunger banquet was hosted filled with delicious, local food, catered by Chris Jess, the head of the CW food school. This meal which gave the attendees a "taste" of the state of hunger in the world, while they learned how yummy it can be to live sustainably.

All proceeds went to Amnesty International Canada.
