@connectingdots1 wrong.stainless steel(surgical grade),the copper will be toxic for drinking,when distilled.
damm .dont you research before giving out advice?

@bobo007xx actually YOU might want to do some research before trying to act smart. Copper is not toxic in the slightest, other wise every person to have ever drunk whiskey or a number of other alcoholic beverages would be dead by now. The only way to make copper toxic for distilling anything from alcohol to water would be to use LEAD SOLDER. Which all plumbing grade solder is lead free. So before you try to act smart use some common sense and/or read before posting. Otherwise just STFU.

People need to shut up with the negative comments. This person has taken the time to make an informative video so thumbs up to that!

@bobo007xx Copper is NOT toxic by any means. Indeed, it's one of the healthiest cookware that unfortunately is not appreciated in North America (btw, I don't believe the cattle here is made of cooper, it seems enamel porcelain to me). The toxic parts of this project are the plastics containers/tubing. Plastic containers leak chemicals into even with cold water, let alone hot water/esteem!...Lastly, he seems like a very young lad; don't crush his creativity.

This is great - like you I only need a little water for my Venus fly trap when I can't collect rain water. Who are all these strange people wanting to drink it?!

Try placing icecubes on the cellophane or cooling your plastic hose by running it through a pot of ice water, that may even remove the need for cutting holes in a plastic cup and covering it whit cellophane :-D. Also, don't distill alcohol on a gas fire in a pot whit an opening thats to wide and stuffed with paper :-P

Cute, you're going to super heat plastic... no that won't release any harmful chemicals, of course not. lol
Look at InspiredByDemand's Video it's better than mine :P
