Vincenorman, perhaps people are saying it is too fast because, have a guess - yes too fast. Give that man a cigar. Just doesn't work sang this fast. It is a matter of taste. The music still works. For the record I like these sisters, though I am starting to suspect they aren't related.

honestly, in every cover of this song you can find on youtube, not a single one has the balls to do the solo section with anywhere near the character of the original. people feel in love with the andrews sister who did that part. that's why 70 years later people still wanna fuck her over it. the young her that is. she owned that verse. no one commits to it now.

the original BWBB is the only version ive heard that has class and style. it's a song that just can't be covered imo. i think all covers (from bette to the puppinis) sound quite cheap and tacky.
