What you don't see in this is the producers and crew herding them off the cliffs. Lemmings actually don't commit suicide, but migrate during population booms. When they encounter an obstacle, they simply try to push through. That's where the "mass suicide" idea came from. So yeah, Disney, this isn't so much a documentary as a sick way to propagate a myth. This SHOULD be fined. Josh sent me.

This makes me sick. Disney should have the modern day equivalent of their profit from this movie multiplied by 10, and then fined. It won't make a dent in their bank account, but pushing animals off a cliff is too fucked up to not warrant a slap on the wrist

This whole film was staged, in fact these lemmings were filmed in Alberta Canada where lemmings do not even exist; the photographers had them shipped in.
