Instead of just editing together all of our client reels for the 2000 AAOS meeting, we decided it would be more fun to make a character animation, make him fall off a ladder, break nearly every bone in his body, and then fix him using all of the amazing technologies we've been involved with this year.
Written & Directed by Stephan Kuslich
Animation and Technical Direction: Nicolas Wiederhold
Lead Character Animator: Jayson Slinger
Art Direction and Additional Animation: Joel Erkkinen
Rigging, Texturing and Additional Animation, Patrick Schwalbe

  • I don't understand how people can not admire who does this. No one is being compared to God, they are just showing how much medicine evolved and how it can heal people. I really don't get why people need to criticize everything, these guys are heroes, and it makes me sad to know they are not getting enough credit for what they do.

  • @rictibo don't worry, it happens! Thank you very much for your words, you are very kind! Happy Xmas to you too! :)

  • @suyunis Dear Suyunis, please accept my deepest apologies! It is completely my fault since I read completely the contrary of your expressed opinion. In fact, thanks God that we have people like your father in this world to help the suffering. I am sure that you are also on a good humanitarian path in your career. Once again thousand of apologies.... please blame it on my French! Happy Xmas. Richard

  • @fricout I'm sorry, but you don't need to be rude. I didn't offend anyone, or at least that wasn't my intention. I just know this is real because that's what my dad does, he's an orthopedist and he helps many people with that method. But I could be a doctor myself, couldn't I? You don't know me and you shouldn't judge me or assume things you don't know. ;)

  • This is AMAZING!
