Nehru Jacket was in fashion for about 10 minutes. It was considered to be dorky. People who were real Hippies or Counter Culture thought it was dorky!

@HurricaneRhonda I don't remember typing the comment but I might have meant that the roach clip wasn't common knowledge to Joe Average. Hell, Bing Crosby was smoking the stuff back in the 1940's and probably would have recognized one!

Looks like Sammy Davis kept a roach clip around his neck. Don't know if people really new what a roach clip was in those days.
