  • you have a bad ac clutch my friend...the front of that compressor is supposed to be spinning when the AC is engaged, you can buy a ac repair kit or a new compressor if you dont feel comfortable replacing it!!

  • @ray32210 is the compressor easy to replace?

  • @kizzle1234656 yes easy make sure the compressor has oil in it not to much but half full at least then take it to a ac to cha4rge

  • FREON is never low! You either have a leak or something else wrong. Jiffy lube and those shops are getting your money recharging something that is sealed for life! HOSES,Clutch,all lines,switches. I suggest looking at everthing on truck any small leak might look slick that is bad.

  • You could be low on freon. The compressor will only turn on if there is freon in hte system. to test the comressor you need to jump the low pressure switch and the a/c clutch should ingauge. If it does then you either are low on freon or you have a bad cylcling switch
