Actually it was only about half muscle. I got chubby but I wore it well. I became the stereotypical "cute teddy bear". I've messed around with increases in confidence separate from the looks, and the confidence can't account for it. But I do agree looks isn't everything. You could just increase your money and power. Ladder theory is the best psychoanalytical description of male/female interaction.

Looks do matter but they are far less important than guys think. But I have a question for you. 50 lbs of muscle is a huge amount. I imagine that when you gained it you're confidence about yourself went through the roof because it's a huge accomplishment. And losing all that weight would probably lower your self esteem a little. My point is your change in weight was not the only veriable at play. I think something else was going on and it was a change in your confidence. And women noticed it.
