Bret Hart is a WWF guy and Booker T is a WCW guy. Both have gotten pushes by Vince McMahon the chairman of the WWE, except Bret won multiple world titles in the WWF and Booker was 2 time world champion in WWE (his fifth WCW Championship after winning the 1st 4 in WCW, and won the World Heavyweight Championship as King Booker).
