Pivot shift light

I just replaced the red led with a hyper blue, heres a short video to show you how it works.. You can adjust this by rev-matching the shift light to your shift point (not recommended) or using a volt meter on your alt to see your voltage output..

Thats it.. plug it in and go, but you have to rev the engine to the point you want your shifts at..

All a tach does is read voltage signal off the coil or voltage.

It also doesn't notify the neighborhood that your in need of a shift.. :)

voltage is voltage, that's all a shift light does is read voltage,

you hook up your volt meter to your alt and figure out your base output from there..

This was just some old early 90's Japanese aftermarket garbage,

I found it in the center counsel when I bought a complete front clip to use for an interior/engine swap..
