http://crapcuttermarketing.com - This is the third video in a series that looks at how to perfectly optimize each blog post you create for maximum search engine ranking. • You kinda missed the whole point of LSI keywords. Your methodology was solid, but NONE of the terms you pointed out were actual LSI phrases in comparison to "dog obedience training." Notice they had that exact phrase within them (you will still be using the principle of the-more-the-merrier keyword density if you put them in a post).

LSI terms are DIFFERENT, but related. "Puppy training" is an example of an LSI keyword. Or "dog training tip" would work.

Use kwmap(dot)com to find LSI keywords.

  • Interesting, and I see what you mean.

But what specifically makes you think that Puppy Training is an LSI keyword?

And also what makes you think that a term is not LSI relevant just because it contains the original term?

I'm not criticizing, actually interested to hear what you think.

  • All I have to say is... GREAT video

  • when i go to google adwords it doesnt have the two options that you speak of. as much as i would love to do it by websites only UGH

  • Andrew, great and valuable info. You're the first person that pointed out LSI I'm going to try that technique in my WP blog. Thanks so much.!

  • Do you think it's best to write a post for each LSI keyword rather then just write each paragraph for each LSI keyword. I'm not sure if it's best to just create a whole new page/post for each LSI keyword and then have them all linking back to the main Key Word page/post. This will give the whole site a much bigger data base full of keywords of relevance in my opinion, but I'm new to SEO and not sure. Just using some common sence. What do you think Andrew?

  • Hi Andrew,

when you put a website in the Google Keyword Tool to find LSI terms, do you tick the country you are in? For instance, I live in Ireland. When I put in a website that ranks high for google.ie I get different sites than if I went on Google.com. Also, do I filter the contry in the keyword tool?

    Thanks
