Shattered memories is what made me rethink a second chance, it was good, not sh2 good but honestly it seems fans these days think that if no sh can achieve as great a deal as sh2 then its not worth playing, still because of shattered memories I'm putting my last hopes in downpour which, by knowing the ost is no longer being done by the original team, are getting pretty slim indeed.

@vaqar001 They tried too hard to redefine silent hill, the biggest flaw(aside the embarrasing movie influenced or even plainly imposed references that strip homecoming of any credibility) was replacing the silent hill feeling of unease with this jump-scare scheme we can experience in so many other wanabe-horror game titles, homecoming shames the series, origins improved but the developing team still lacked that feeling and so they resorted to unecessary story plotholes...

The gameplay looks really nice... much more smooth and fun
but if it doesn't have the same horror like the previous Silent Hills' I might reconsider buying this...

@telecalcu Homecoming and 4 were fine deep titles not as good as the others overall but still good dont cry because its different. Staying completely the same wouldve degraded the series over time also.

the game looks way better in the earlier stadium, also the ideas and story were better. He talked about that they wanted to based the story on sh2 and you could throw monsters from windows.

The game was shit... Japanese creators in SH 1,2,3 and 4 did extremely well. But American creaters have spoiled the whole image of silent hill franchise. I am a big fan of silent hill but next time will think of buying it after all this crap. Previous silent hill games made you feel the whole thing as if you are yourself emotionally inside the game. Only best part of SH5 is that the music is from akira other than that its not even worth talking about...
