@97regalbass You have obviously never looked at Pontiacs before. The Grand prix in its last form was a midsized car built by Pontiac to compete with the likes of Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. The G8 was built by Holden in Australia (GM's Australian company) to compete with cars like BMW M3 and Dodge Challenger. Think of a G8 as a modern day 4-door GTO. The G6, Pontiac's newest and last attempt at a midsized sedan, replaced the long lived Grand Prix. Common sense makes that make sense.
