You should know that a "holocaust" is different than THE holocaust.

After THE holocaust the usage was limited. Before it's not unusual for old writers to say like "the settlers moving west were cut down by a wintery holocaust.

Or "the salamanders of the pond were destroyed by a holocaust of water moccasin snakes"

Honestly comparing whores and ppl who betray the constituence that elected them is indeed a bit unfair to the hardworking prostitutes worldwide, their way of screwing you is honest and so much nicer.
