In this *very* special shmup video taken from my own play of the original x68000 computer version of Cho Ren Sha 68k, here is how I blew through all of the bosses of the first (1st) loop!!! :D

(NOTE: early in this video, watch this amazing trick *carefully* on the two boss ships at the end of Stage 1 to see how I have beaten them both at their own little game!!! ;) )

Loop 2 is coming (including the TRUE final boss!), so be sure not to miss it all!! In the meantime, enjoy the destruction festivities in the interesting vid that I have pieced together myself!!! (^-^)v !!

  • Man, you're an incredible player. I love the second boss theme. The the alarm sfx really sets you up for the punishment to come. I've only managed to see those bosses once or twice. I really like the sounds they make during their barrages. Good stuff!

  • Thank you so much VERY truly, awesome Ragnakaos!!! ^-^=b !

I am so glad that *every* sound effect and visual cue are so well-mastered and packed into such an amazing x68000 original game as Cho Ren Sha 68k indeed... damn, no wonder it inspired such an amazingly awesome Windows version of the exact same name indeed, you know now? :D !

  • I already know the trick with the first boss, but I have also problems with the sixth boss and the last level.

  • Very nice trick with the first boss. I must go back and play this again now!

  • My pleasure, Nintega, and you are *absolutely* welcome as well!!! ;D

  • Yeah, that sixth boss is VERY tough to beat, my man! :/ What I did in this video, though, is that I had to sidestep the cross-patterned bullets a little bit in the first form, then in the second form as it charges up for a FAST-speed attack, move near the horizontal center of the firing pattern without getting hit.

If all else fails, USE YOUR BOMBS, of course. ^^

  • Actually, I got so far in this game for two reasons, Nintega... plenty of practice, and a gut-load of perseverance!!

Exactly how I muscled my way through, you know? ;)

  • You sir, are a GOD. I kneel down to your gaming skills.
