This is how they do it. Establishment of the settlements violates international humanitarian law. Israel has ignored the relevant rules of law, adopting its own interpretation, which is not accepted by almost all leading jurists around the world and by the international community.

Some half a million Israelis are now living over the Green Line: more than 300,000 in 121 settlements and about one hundred outposts, which control 42 percent of the land area of the West Bank, and the rest in twelve neighborhoods that Israel established on land it annexed to the Jerusalem Municipality.
The settlement enterprise has been characterized, since its inception, by an instrumental, cynical, and even criminal approach to international law, local legislation, Israeli military orders, and Israeli law, which has enabled the continuous pilfering of land from Palestinians in the West Bank.

The principal means Israel used for this purpose was declaration of "state land," a mechanism that resulted in the seizure of more than 900,000 dunams of land (sixteen percent of the West Bank), with most of the declarations being made in 1979-1992. The interpretation that the State Attorney's Office gave to the concept "state land" in the Ottoman Land Law contradicted explicit statutory provisions and judgments of the Mandatory Supreme Court. Without this distorted interpretation, Israel would not have been able to allocate such extensive areas of land for the settlements.
In addition, the settlements seized control of private Palestinian land. By cross-checking data of the Civil Administration, the settlements' jurisdictional area, and aerial photos of the settlements taken in 2009, B'Tselem found that 21 percent of the built-up area of the settlements is land that Israel recognizes as private property, owned by Palestinians.

To encourage Israelis to move to the settlements, Israel created a mechanism for providing benefits and incentives to settlements and settlers, regardless of their economic condition, which often was financially secure.

  • @relipo84 Very true, the extremists are in every camp on all sides.

This cycle of violence is never-ending...one side attacks and the other responds with force, rinse and repeat.

Honestly...I think the only way to break the cycle is to leave occupied territory...I have no other solution to be honest, I dont really believe in regime change by force, it'll just give these terrorist groups easier time recruiting ppl

  • @relipo84. Anti-semitism is right for the Western powers that sing to the tune of Israel, you know like Evangelical Christians from the US, or Nixon. I have Jewish friends, I work with Jews. I live with Jews in Stamford Hill, in London (biggest Jewish community in London). When I see a fellow Jew, A Salaam them. But I'm antisemetic? You know noting about me you uneducated moron.

  • @UKSecretCourts

Yeah, sure, I'll listen to Mr. Creepy Islamic Inciter...

No thanks, keep your filthy HATE-HATE-HATE speech for someone dumber than me.

And I hope you got yours on September 20th. Palestinians will get NOTHING as long as they keep up the violence, simple as that!

  • @zobielamouche1

I'll add another one for you:

Zionists kill Christian children and make Mazas out of their blood, for Passover.

Zionists have big noses. Zionists are greedy and want to screw your daughters.

Now just replace "Zionists" with "Jews" (because all Zionists are Jews), and you'll be all set for your S.S recruitment.

    Disgusting.

I'd like to know where you people were BEFORE 1967 - I'll bet your parents were protesting against Jordan's occupation of "Palestine", right? Yeah... No.

  • @TheMrMongolia

Sure - why fear anti-semitism? If you're O.K with it, why deny it?

Just be honest about it - anti-semitism is fine with you. You don't mind standing in Islamic protests shoulder to shoulder with Jew-hating Islamists - as long as you're not the one being blamed, right? As long as it's only Israel and America, right?

    You're a coward, and you'll die a coward.

Go ahead - boycott Intel, Microsoft, Facebook - go back to living in the stone age with your Islamic pals. See if I care.

  • @syntaxed2

I'd like to know what international law has to say about suicide belts attached to children, who are then sent off to blow up in civilian buses (Hamas, paid for by Iran). Or about rockets being launched daily FROM civilian population INTO civilian population (Hamas, Hizballa - paid for by Iran). Or about the horrors of Assad's people, who are also paid for and taught by the Iranians to oppress, torture and behead the so-called "traitors" who refuse to shoot at unarmed protesters.

  • Hate to say it, but I think relipo84 is right about one thing. Boycotting is useless in isolation and probably impossible since most western products are associated with Zionism. Think about it, even Nestle is Zionist. So what can you do? Become more vocal without the fear of being accused of Anti-Semitism. Become an Activist in condemning. Join the BDS movement. For the sake of Humanity something needs to be done.

  • @relipo84 Nothing you say can change the fact that your country still occupies territory, is conducting ethnic cleansing and violates international law.

If it was really about protection you wouldnt be stopping foreign aid for the women and children who need it the most. And you would also allow a UN peace keeping force into gaza. You would also confirm your own borders if it was really about defense...

No, its about stealing land and the whole world knows it.

  • zionists steal palestinian land since 130 years.
